Transforming lives, powering change
I am thrilled to share an inspiring new chapter in our ongoing commitment to improving lives through the power of electricity. This fall, a dedicated team of volunteer lineworkers from Oklahoma’s electric cooperatives will embark on a life-changing mission to electrify the village of Barejones in Guatemala.
Energy Trails is a testament to the spirit of cooperation and community service that defines us. Coordinated through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s (NRECA) philanthropic arm, NRECA International, this initiative will bring the life-enhancing benefits of electricity to Barejones.
Electricity is more than just a convenience. It powers education, health care and economic opportunities, transforming lives in profound ways. As our lineworkers prepare to light up Barejones, we recognize that the needs of this community extend beyond electricity. Access to clean water is equally critical for their health and well-being.
We are inviting you to join us in this cause. For $35, you can make a significant impact by ensuring that the people of Barejones have access to clean, safe water. Your donation will go directly toward building and maintaining water systems that will serve the village for years to come.
Imagine the difference we can make together. With your support, children will no longer have to walk miles to fetch water, schools will have safe restrooms, families will have better health and the community will thrive with newfound opportunities. This is more than a donation; it is an investment in the future of Barejones.
Help contribute to our 501(c)(3) foundation. Every dollar counts toward a brighter, healthier future for Barejones.
Together, we can light up the world, one village at a time.
