Each month, Oklahoma Living magazine holds a themed reader-submitted photo contest. Judges select submissions to be featured in the “Reader’s Favorites” contest, then it’s up to you, the readers, to vote for your favorite! The winning photo will be featured in the next edition of Oklahoma Living, and the submitter will receive a prize.

September contest is OPEN – Timeless traditions

As we get closer to the season of spending time with family—what are your family traditions? Submit your best photo to showcase this tradition with us! Entries must be received by Oct 10 for consideration in our Reader’s Favorite contest.

Upcoming Themes (month represents print issue):

  • December — Tinsel time
  • January — Best of 2026

Have a photo you want to share not related to current/future themes? Use the “Open submit — No theme” option after clicking “Add Image.” Be sure to include caption/description of photo for Oklahoma Living to have on hand if used for future print, web or social content purposes.

There is no limit to photo submissions. Feel free to submit additional photos as needed.

From the entries, a panel of judges will determine the top submissions which will then be available on our website for a period of voting to choose the “Readers’ Favorite” selection that will appear in the magazine.

All photos submitted become property of Oklahoma Living magazine and will not be returned.
