A culture of safety is vital for your local electric cooperative. Beyond prioritizing safety for employees, your co-op deeply cares about your safety as well.
Why does it matter? Simply put, your life matters. Electricity is a powerful force. If not used correctly, it can be life threatening.
That’s why Oklahoma’s electric cooperative teamed up to make sure you are wired up for safety!
How to become wired up!
Participate in your local cooperative’s Electric Safety Public Awareness events each year.
The foundation of your electric cooperative is the Seven Cooperative Principles, one of them is Education, Training and Information. We consider it a privilege to provide safety education information to first responders in our community and to our members.
