BIRD & CRYSTAL FESTIVAL

Please join us for the 2024 Bird & Crystal Festival at the Great Salt Plains Selenite crystal digging site. It is located 2 miles south of Cherokee and 5 miles east. Our event will begin at 9am at the dig site, we will have a crystal contest where we judge different categories of selenite crystals, snacks, and prizes to give away all morning! There will be a city wide garage in Cherokee, all day! Be sure and bring water, shovels, buckets, older clothes, towels, and sunscreen! You will also want to wash your vehicles after leaving the dig area!
