Spark the Fun Safety Day – Choctaw Electric

About this event

Choctaw Electric is thrilled to invite teachers and students to an action packed, hands on learning adventure! Get ready for a lively Public Awareness Safety Event designed to spark curiosity, build real world skills, and make safety education unforgettable. As part of our commitment to the Seven Cooperative Principles—especially Education, Training, and Information—we’re proud to share valuable safety knowledge with the students, first responders, and community members we serve. Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 7, 2026, because we’re hosting “Wired Up for Safety” – Spark the Fun Safety Day at the Hugo Agri Plex! We’ll be teaming up with first responders from across Choctaw County to bring students a full day of interactive stations, each featuring a fun safety game or activity that turns learning into an adventure. The day will focus on ages Kindergarten through 5th grade but all are welcome as well as anyone in the community.  One of the highlights of the day will be our live downed power line demonstration—a powerful, eye opening experience for students and adults alike.  We hope you come spark some fun with us!
