United Way 6th Annual BBQ Showdown

The United Way of Stephens County’s annual BBQ Showdown is all about BBQ and fun while raising funds for local nonprofits. All are welcome to compete from backyard cookers to BBQ Pit Masters in our friendly non-sanctioned competition. We have an average of 10 teams al vying for the coveted “People’s Choice” award as well as $250 1st place prize money for each meat category. Entries include Beef Brisket, Port Butt & Ribs, and Chicken Thighs. Also judged are beans, sides and desserts. Wristbands are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under to sample all entries.
