In Memoriam

The Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives remember two individuals who will have a lasting impact on the electric co-op community

 

 

Lasley Farms

 

Ronald “Dusty” Lee Richards was born in Chicago, Illinois, to John and and Jean Richards. He was an Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives (OAEC) board trustee, representing Ozarks Electric Cooperative. Most recently, he also served as the chair of the OAEC External Communications Committee and provided oversight for Oklahoma Living magazine. Dusty was a well-known western author.

 

 

 

 

Lasley Farms

 

Harold Roy Hale was born in Sickles, Oklahoma. He served in the House of Representatives for House District 43 from 1981-1990. He served as director of legislative and regulatory affairs for the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives for 17 years until his retirement in 2009.
